The
decision to place a relative in a health care facility is an enormously
difficult and often traumatic choice. It is our intent to reduce
the distress so often felt by families.
Hilaire
Farm upholds one basic principle before all others: all residents,
regardless of their physical or mental condition, will be treated
with both dignity and respect. This underlying philosophy requires
an unusually competent and caring staff, as well as a relaxing and
homelike environment.
Our
residents are treated as individuals and are offered every opportunity
for mental stimulation through varied activities, commensurate with
his or her ability to socialize and participate in group events.
Naturally, our high standards for our resident's care are designed
primarily for their comfort and well being, however, the immediate
family members are important to us as well.

Since
we are a small facility, residents and staff enjoy knowing that
we are one big family and feel residents families are an important
extension of their lives. Resident's families are very involved
and active in activities and programs and are encouraged to visit
as often as possible, with open visiting hours for family convenience.
